How To Prep for Your Job
Attic
When adding insulation to the attic, a clear path to the entrance(s) of the attic space is needed. If access is in the closet we ask that clothes be removed for easy access, and cleanliness any valuables in the work area we ask you make sure they are clearly out of the way. If your attic space is being used for storage please remove all merchandise from the space before arrival. We ask if there are any pet droppings in the yard for it to be cleaned up around any working area or paths to the working area.
Exterior walls
When insulating exterior walls & headers, a 5ft path is required from the walls being insulated. Any valuables in the work area we ask you make sure they are clearly out of the way. A clear path from the entrance to the jobs space is needed. For retro t applications make sure anything hanging on the exterior walls to be insulated is removed before arrival. We ask if there are any pet droppings in the yard for it to be cleaned up around any working area or paths to the working area. This process can be dusty so remove and valuables form the rooms.
Crawl Space & Headers
When adding insulation to the crawl space, a clear path to the entrance(s) of the crawl space is needed. If there is a lot of debris & old insulation we recommend getting the eco platinum package, ask your sales representative for details. The access door to the crawlspace we ask be functional so we can spray and seal the back of the hatch. We ask if there are any pet droppings in the yard for it to be cleaned up around any working area or paths to the working area.
Knee walls
When adding insulation to the knee walls, a clear path to the entrance(s) of the knee walls is needed. Any valuables in the work area we ask you make sure they are clearly out of the way. If your knee wall space is being used for storage please remove all belongings and rubbish from the space before arrival.
Basement Walls & Headers
When insulating basement walls & headers, a 5ft path is required from the walls being insulated. Any valuables in the work area we ask you make sure they are clearly out of the way. A clear path from the entrance to the jobs space is needed. We ask if there are any pet droppings in the yard for it to be cleaned up around any working area or paths to the working area.
Exposed Floor
When insulating an exposed oor a path is required from the entrance to the job space. The oor below the exposed oor must be clear and clean from any debris. We ask if there are any pet droppings in the yard for it to be cleaned up around any working area or paths to the working area.
Under slab
When insulating an under slab the surface must be clear and dry. A drainage material must be place on the ground, such as a stone before the foam is applied.
